Jennifer Russ is a writer from St. Louis, Missouri. She spent 12 years in Northern California, deeply committed to psychological and spiritual healing, after losing both her parents to cancer by the age of 25.
Jenn studied English at Yale and Creative Nonfiction at Pacific University, where she wrote her master’s thesis, The Alphabet of Grief, on caregiving, loss, and renewal. She has taught creative writing and served as a copywriter and editor within the fields of spirituality and wellness. She particularly enjoys writing about grief and growth, and supporting others who are grieving a loss or experiencing other life challenges that impact their mental health.
